As part of our continuing cocktail series with Sam Anderson, Garden Collage presents another floral cocktail that was featured at the GC Botany Salon— and this one is non-alcoholic.¬†Ars Botanica is a¬†beautiful pink cocktail that features freshly-squeezed grapefruit, fresh lime, and shiso simple syrup. Find the recipe below– the perfect dose of Vitamin C, just in time for Winter!

Ingredients
  • 4 oz freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 3/4 oz freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 3/4 oz shiso simple syrup
Preparation
1.
To make the shiso syrup, heat 1 quart sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Bruise 10 shiso leaves and infuse. Strain shiso leaves after 2 hours. Cool and refrigerate. (This syrup will have a shelf life of two weeks.)

Shake all ingredients, garnish with lime wheel, and serve!
