Events We Love: Bouley Botanical’s The Chef & The Doctor Series
Bouley Botanical’s The Chef & The Doctor dinner series is a collection of health-focused, multi-course culinary experiences featuring world-renowned doctors teaming up with Chef David Bouley for an evening of health, education, and fine food.
Taking place at 6:30 PM at Bouley Botanical (at 281 Church Street in TriBeCa), the dinner series take place on select Tuesdays throughout the spring, and kick off with a reception featuring passed canapés and a specialty health tonic cocktail, before continuing with a multi-course meal and wine pairing (prepared by Chef Bouley) that uses ingredients that address the topic of the evening.
An example of recent programming includes the March 28th dinner with Dr. Frank Lipman, M.D., which was dedicated to exploring The Good Medicine Mandala— a ring of wellness that “looks like a mandala and encompasses six areas of life essential to vital health: eating, sleeping, moving, protecting, unwinding, and connecting”.
Forthcoming dinner topics include “The Power of Water to Heal” (April 18th) and how to “Erase The Fear of Aging” (April 25th). At all dinners, the doctor will be present throughout the event to answer questions following the lecture.
Tickets to each Chef & Doctor dinner are $197 per person, including tax and gratuity.
