Events We Love This Week: Madoo in Manhattan Featuring Jinny Blom
This Wednesday, we’ll be sponsoring the fourth annual Madoo in Manhattan event, featuring the distinguished, award-winning British garden designer Jinny Blom. Blom is known for her elegantly wild designs for private and public clients alike (including Prince Harry), and was hailed this year as “one of the most sought-after talents in her field” by Architectural Digest. Her work balances traditional English garden design with innovation, and always factors in the delicate interplay of ecosystems.
Blom’s lecture is part of the Madoo Conservancy‘s ongoing commitment to gardening, history, and art programming. The two-acre space is located in Sagaponack, NY and exists as “a unique living tribute to the artistic imagination of its founder, we seek to continually engage, educate, and inspire our visitors within this ever-changing, entirely organic environment”.
The event is taking place at a private club on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017, starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets are currently on sale— we hope to see you there!
