Christopher Walken Plays a Gardener Who is Afraid of Plants in Old SNL Clip

One of the great past times of American entertainment is watching vintage SNL footage around the holidays– particularly those iconic Yule Tide sketches like “Schweddy Balls”, which give an entirely new meaning to “stocking stuffers”.

This Christmas break, we’re excited to have unearthed another gardening favorite from the SNL archive: a clip that features Christopher Walken portraying a gardener who is afraid of plants.

The sketch is called “Indoor Gardening Tips From A Man Who’s Very Scared of Plants” and boy, does it deliver. In it, Walken attempts to put googley eyes on everything from cacti to ferns, believing that his plants could turn on him at any moment.
