Events We Love: Dinners at Dizengoff

Mike Solomonov’s Zahav (a Philadelphia-based Israeli restaurant famed for its cult-adulated hummus) brought their first outpost to NYC’s Chelsea Market in the spring of 2016. Since that time, the limited menu hummus bar has become a favorite among NYC’s foodie elite, who begged for an extension of the brand to come to NYC long before it arrived.

Now, Dizengoff’s Chelsea Market location will be doing a limited-ticket dinner series that takes place at their Chelsea Market bar after hours. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night Dizengoff will serving a three-course, family-style meal that changes with the seasons and “is inspired by the vibrant, soulful and exotic flavors of the Israeli table”. Dinner starts promptly at 7:30pm, and the meal is $60 per person including tax and excluding beverages (like some really cool Israeli wines, as well as draft beer and a cocktail or two). Those with dietary restrictions should make them known at the time of booking, and the restaurant will do their best to accommodate. Other than that: bring on the pita!
