Embrace The Colors of the Season with This Gorgeous Spring Salad
Spring is upon us, which means one thing: incredible salads are only weeks away. We can’t wait to go to our local farmers’ markets to pick out some colorful produce and make a nice spring salad, so we got a little ahead of ourselves and styled a visual feast to honor the season.
Radish, basil, airloom tomatoes, lavender, watercress, watermelon radish, edible daisies, purple carrots, sage, snap peas, and romanesco are some of our favorite vegetables to use when looking for ways to make a salad ‘pop’. You could toss any of these items on top of a bed of greens (by themselves or in combination) and the results would delight. Salads are the centerpiece of any spring table, and they function sort of like a bouquet: mix and match your favorite colors and textures, and the results will be more artful and nourishing than you could possibly imagine.
