INFARM is a “farming incubator” which seeks to provide urban communities with the tools they need to grow fresh, local, organic produce in a variety of indoor spaces.
INFARM started in 2013 when Erez and Guy Galonska and Osnat Michaeli decided to start developing hydroponic systems in their Berlin home. Since then, what was once a small pipe garden in their living room has become one of the city’s hottest eco destinations.
A variety of microgreens can thrive in vertical and freestanding planters; at INFARM, experts constantly test and re-test the optimal conditions for growth.
INFARM conducts their own horticultural research in an extensive in-house lab where they test out various strategies for urban farming in a variety of native environments.
INFARM’s indoor growing systems aren’t just for home gardeners: hotels, restaurants, offices, and businesses all come to INFARM to find their own green infrastructure.
Sophisticated hydroponic systems keep these indoor plants thriving.
The “Green Room” is one of INFARM’s biggest draws. It hosts a variety of experiments to test different watering systems, light spectrums, plant species, and technological integration.
Indoor watering systems enable “vertical” gardening, or the arrangements of plants upwards, rather than outwards– perfect for cramped spaces.
This beautiful, self-watering “green wall” is one of INFARM’s best-selling products. It’s marketed towards restaurants and offices, but purchase is also suitable for anyone desiring a lush, indoor green wall.
