Garden Collage shares instructions for how to make your own biodegradable citrus planter.
What you’ll need:
Cut the fruit in half horizontally, and hollow it out with a spoon, scoop or knife (make sure not to get citrus juice in your eyes!)
Make sure to remove excess pulp.
Poke a whole through the rind with a pencil (this will help with drainage).
Fill your mini-planter with soil and sow the seeds or plant the sprout. Follow with a light water.
Enjoy watching your little plant grow!
