When I looked at Irving Penn’s Flowers for the first time, I was immediately captivated: the way he photographed each flower, how he captured their fragility and strength in beauty stunned me. Why did it have such an impact on me? I wondered. And then I realized that the theme of ‘botanical beauty’ is one that has inspired me from early on. If it were possible, every aspect of my life would breathe botanical beauty– and I do try to incorporate more of it into my life and work with every new day.
From design, to food, to my beauty regime– it all refers back to botanical beauty. Isn’t it amazing that the essences of the most stellar flowers are often the most beneficial for one’s own beauty? Below you’ll find a collection of products that are currently in frequent use: from Byredo’s “Flowerhead” perfume to my favorite inner beauty boost drink to the magnificent May Lindstrom jasmine face spray. (Naturally, Irving Penn’s Flowers is also in the mix.)
