Dominique Ansel’s Fruit Ice Creams are Back
For those of you who missed out on Dominique Ansel’s limited-time Farmers Market Strawberry Tart, the pastry chef continues to churn out unique summer fruit creations at his seasonal ice cream shop on 7th Avenue.
Dominque Ansel Bakery’s Ice Cream Window in NYC and Dominique Ansel Bakery Tokyo continue to feature Ansel’s own Kiwi Sorbet Bar, Watermelon soft serve, and the eccentric-looking Crème de la Corn, among other cool, whimsical fruit creations.
While some of these options are utterly adorable (kiwi Klondike bar, anyone? ), others might seem more geared towards adventurous eaters (the Crème de la Corn is fresh grilled corn on the cob brushed with soy sauce and butter, topped with a swirl of caramel sweet corn soft serve, and dotted with corn caramel).
We’re fans of keeping it simple with watermelon soft serve (which is just watermelon soft serve inside of an actual watermelon slice)– but hey, that’s just us.
