Garden Collage curates stories about the aesthetic value of gardens, plant-based beauty products, environmental policy, the farm to table movement, DIY gardening tips, travel journals, and other fresh takes on the value of gardening in our modern world. Our mission is to bring back the garden into peoples’ lives while inspiring readers to espouse a new, dynamic concept of “gardening” based on a collage of perspectives from a global community of gardeners.
Garden Collage was founded in 2015 by Californian-cum-New Yorker Daisy Helman, who saw the site as a way to explore the ever-changing role of the contemporary garden. GC curates interesting profiles, video, infographics, and other creative content on a variety of ideas that relate to the garden, as we view the garden through a prism of different perspectives. We believe every individual sees the garden through a different lens– some are active gardeners, some love spending time in gardens, and others may simply be curious about plant-based skincare or nature-themed activities for kids. From the farm to the fire escape, we cover it all.
We curate exciting, innovative content about today’s modern garden, including everything from stories about local food, natural skincare, investigative reporting on environmental issues, travel recommendations, and after-school activities for children. We like to think there’s a little something for everyone on the site.
We believe in the products we endorse, which is why we support them. Whether it’s Pratima’s sunscreen or an elegant pair of Foxgloves, we’ve tried them all, and they’ve passed the test. This way, our readers can trust that we aren’t recommending anything that we don’t already own and love
Garden Collage offers a variety of DIY projects, city guides, and weekend recommendations for gardeners, foodies, herbalists, wanderers, curious minds, and nature-enthusiasts alike
