Listen to the Latest GC Playlist: Pretty in Pink

One of GC’s visual cues for the month of March is “Plants on Pink”. Inspired in part by the popular Instagram handle by the same title, we wanted to channel the bohemian adobe vibes of the American Southwest with both our visual aesthetic and our editorial content– think desert plants, cacti, succulents, drought gardens, and beautiful Mexican tile.

We also wanted to nod at our theme in this week’s musical selection, so our latest GC Playlist features a sonic hat tip to the word “pink”, which has a huge presence in the music world. “Pink Moon” by Nick Drake, “Pink Bullets” by the Shins, “Pink Rabbits” by the National, “Pink” by Aerosmith, and “Pink Houses” by John Mellencamp are just a few of the songs we’ve included here. We’ve also added music from Ariel Pink, P!nk (the pop star), and, of course, Pink Floyd– which also happens to be the name of one of our favorite pink rose varieties (because even gardeners can’t resist a good pun).
