Events We Love: The Half Moon Market in Albany, New York
The Half Moon Market in Albany, New York is a semi-annual happening that takes place next from October 20-22, 2017 at the Washington Park Lake House in the New York state capital.
The market will kick off with a special night market celebration on Friday, October 20th from 5 to 9 PM. DJ Selector David Normal will be spinning 1960’s funk and soul records amidst handmade vendors, vintage pop-ups, local food trucks, and a craft beer and cider bar.
On Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 22nd, the market will be open from 11 AM to 6 PM and will feature over 40 handmade vendors and pop-ups, a beer + cider bar by Pint Sized, coffee by 3Fish Coffee, a full roster of local food vendors. This event is free and open to the public. Dogs are not allowed unless they are service animals or small enough to be carried.
Albany, New York (and the Washington Park Lake House) are reachable by taking the Amtrak Empire Service train from Penn Station to the Albany-Rensselaer stop.
