Event We Love: Modeling a Successful Urban Agriculture Business
From 6 PM to 9 PM on Wednesday, November 8, Anastasia Cole Plakias, Co-Founder of Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm, will give a talk on Agriculture Business and how to create a successful contemporary model for an urban agriculture business in a metropolis like New York City.
The goal of the talk is to present a framework for thinking creatively about new opportunities for farming in cities, with actionable insight on how to design financial stability, ecological sustainability, and social value into a business plan.
