Events We Love: Hike To Support Medicinal Plant Conservation

United Plant Savers are a group dedicated to protecting native medicinal plants, thereby “ensuring an abundant renewable supply of medicinal plants for generations to come.”

In order to support their research, conservation, and education, United Plant Savers is hosting an Earth Day Walkabout & Campout (complete with “music and plant love vibe”) at their sanctuary in Rutland, Ohio to support their latest project: the Medicinal Plant Conservation Center building, set to be built within the sanctuary. Hikes are led by local experts and there are plenty of herbal teas to sample throughout the weekend. Participants can look forward to having a plaque displayed in “their showcase medicinal plant garden outside the welcome center.”
