Autumn Looks From Paris Fashion Week Were Full of Inspiring Florals

For six days the French capital threw out the unofficial style rule book and took a fresh look at the art of femininity for Paris Fashion Week 2018. This year’s SS’18 showcase consisted of 83 shows exhibited across Paris’s most beautiful destinations. From September 29th to October 4th, thousands gathered, hoping to catch sight of next season’s most highly-anticipated looks. Among them: customers, journalists, and above all, celebrities. This year, cat walk models weren’t the only showstoppers: front row looks stole the spotlight, too.

Despite Paris feeling decidedly autumnal for this year’s unveiling, the Spring Summer 2018 collections spoke of much brighter skies.

There was Chanel’s replica of Verdon Gorge under the Grand Palais nave, and Louis Vuitton’s intricately-embroidered, flowery, 18th century Rococo’n’roll frock coats. Alexander McQueen’s princess rebels, Rodarte’s nymphs, and Valentino’s chic bohemians all made an appearance. The performances were full of flair, and many brands used the spotlight to champion nature– a favorite theme of Parisian designers– in all its glory. Check out our Paris team’s top looks from this year’s runway, below.
