Join GC, Vogue.com, and Others at We The Women’s “Women of Manhattan” Event

Garden Collage is proud to announce that we will be supporting We The Women‘s March 10th + March 11th showing of “Women of Manhattan”— a two night event celebrating women’s role in society with art, music, food, and freebies to benefit Planned Parenthood.

The two-night event will take place from 7 PM to Midnight at L.A.’s historic Palace Theatre (630 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90014) on the evening of March 10th and March 11th (there are two showings of the play). “Women of Manhattan” was written by John Patrick Shanley about the lives of three memorable women living on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 1986. We The Women’s run of the work will be directed by Martha Gehman, starring Samantha Ressler, Nathalie Love, and Jackie Shea (with Armen Weitzman and Bechir Sylvain). Cocktail attire is strongly encouraged.

Proceeding the play, there will be a Fine Art exhibit showcasing all female artists, available for purchase. (All proceeds donated to Planned Parenthood.) The evening’s goal is to create a “safe and nurturing community for women in the arts and entertainment to share their voice and nurture their creativity.”

Garden Collage will be on site offering women-positive floral tattoos, each encoded with symbolic meaning and feminine strength, as defined by the Language of Flowers. We are proud to be a part of this event, and we hope to see you there!

For tickets are available for purchase here. For more information about the event, visit We The Women’s website.
