Listen to the Latest GC Playlist: Tune In, Drop Out

This week’s playlist honors one of Garden Collage’s May themes: Plants & Psychedelia, in which our staff will be exploring themes related to alternative medicine and the mounting body of research into nascent pharmacological herbal remedies– from hallucinogens like ayahuasca to culturally-intrenched folkloric staples like medical marijuana and psilocybin– the latter of which is now being administered in some very promising research into end-of-life grief counseling at NYU.

Our “Tune In, Drop Out” playlist is an irreverent interpretation of this topic. The playlist features a mix of classic psych, folk, and early rock alongside 70’s stoner gems and archival classics from the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Television, Jethro Tull, The Animals, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and the Beatles.
