Bouquet of The Week: Florals From Florabrook

As part of our recurring Bouquet of the Week series, Garden Collage continues to present a weekly inspirational bouquet that incorporates intriguing new elements into the traditional practice of flower arranging. This week, Garden Collage Founder Daisy Helman teams with Caroline ‘Flora’ Lahti, the energetic enthusiast behind Florabrook, who crafts incredible bouquets for the Manhattan coffee hot spot Two Hands.

On the edge of Chinatown is a coffee shop that I often frequent called Two Hands, which is known for its sunny atmosphere, big open windows, and flawless coffee.

During my recent visits, I also noticed that the flowers Two Hands sources for their small bouquets– even in the tiny Two Hands bathroom. Each bundle is always a little bit unique and eye catching, so we decided to see who was behind them.

After doing some research, we discovered Caroline Lahti, the energetic and enthusiastic creative behind Florabrook flowers. Florabrook is a floral and plant design company based out of New York, and they are ones responsible for assembling the incredible bouquets in the tiny Two Hands bathroom. We took an early morning trip to the flower market and then invited Caroline over to put together this week’s arrangement. With summer in full swing, we came up with the perfect combo: a spring bouquet focused on peony, with a touch of sunflower, foxglove, and wheat. Sealed with a signature Garden Collage ribbon, it’s the perfect earthy combo to start the summer off right.
