The Summer Fancy Food Show Brings Delicacies to NYC

This weekend from June 25th through June 27th, the Javitz Center in New York is hosting the Summer Fancy Food Show, the largest specialty food industry trade event in North America. (Expect to see 180,000+ specialty foods and beverages.)

In addition to the endless samples, the Summer Fancy Food Show features a live pitch competition and showcases among other demos and talks, so that it basically feels like what might happen if every single show on The Food Network were on at the same time.

With an emphasis on innovation, Summer Fancy Food Show has an incubator alley, full of new and up-and-coming foods. The Specialty Food Association (the minds behind the show) will also be launching LevelUP, whose focus is especially on exciting new developments in the world of food, from seaweed pastrami to edible algae.

No suit and tie needed, but you will need to pick up tickets— and you should probably put your pinky fingers to the moon.
