Events We Love: Getting In Touch With L.A.’s Wild Side

On March 18th and 19th from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles County is hosting L.A. Nature Fest with the goal of highlighting L.A.’s less seen natural facets. Designed for all ages, the weekend features 30+ exhibitor booths, scientists on hand to answer questions about the local environment, live animals to admire and learn more about, performances, nature walks, crafts, and bird walks. Topics range from talks about native California bees, to gardening tips for attracting wildlife, to snake feedings, to a coffee roasting demo. All together, the events act as a kind of resource for the community, encouraging them to be more in touch with the life (in its many forms) around them.

L.A. Nature Fest is free with general admission to the museum. To learn more about the event, visit the Natural History Museum’s website.
