Try This Nourishing Sesame Face Mask
Sesame Oil is often referred to in the Ayurvedic tradition as “The Mother of All Oils”, and our latest face mask formulation is designed to honor the antioxidant and anti-cancer properties of this potent, moisturizing superfood.
1 Tablespoon warm sesame oil
1 Tablespoon mashed avocado
2 Teaspoons Manuka honey
2 drops lavender essential oil for added relaxation (optional)
1 Tablespoon rolled oats for added exfoliation (optional)
Combine all ingredients into a paste and apply to face and neck. Let sit for 15 minutes then rinse off with a cream cleanser and follow with toner and moisturizer of choice.
Those with oiler skin can opt to add an additional teaspoon of honey for an added astringent effect, while those with dry skin can add rolled oats (about 1 Tablespoon) for added exfoliation (Just be sure to wash the mask off using round, circular motions– starting at the bottom of the face and working your way up). Enjoy!
