Breakfast Masala Chai15 min
- 1/2 cup of ground Assam tea
- 2 cups of water
- 3 cardamom pods
- 2 cloves
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- milk of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 medium strip of orange peel
- Maple syrup
In a medium saucepan, bring the water, ground tea, ginger, cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon stick, and orange peel to a boil for about 10 minutes.
Strain the tea into the cups, add desired amount of milk and maple syrup for sweetness.
