In a medium saucepan, combine coconut oil, onion, salt, chili flakes, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and raisins. Stir for two minutes, or until onions are translucent.
Add finely chopped apples and 1/4 cup vinegar to the pan. Cook on medium low for 9 minutes, or until apples are translucent and the cider has cooked down.
Let cool and pack in a jar to enjoy easy fall flavor in the coming weeks.
