Bouquet of the Week: Celebrating The Magic of Fall
As part of our recurring Bouquet of the Week series, Garden Collage continues to present a weekly inspirational bouquet that incorporates intriguing new elements into the traditional practice of floral design. This week, Garden Collage stylist Chelsea Dowling arranges a bouquet to celebrate the magic of Fall.
It’s official: Today was the first day that the temperature in New York City did not surpass 75 and went as low as 60 degrees! I don’t care what you say, its officially Sweater Weather, and you can bet that I put on a turtleneck this morning and skipped down the street. Fall is my favorite season (as it is for most New York City dwellers). In my mind, this is the time of year when all the magic happens. The colors start to change, the atmosphere turns cozy and romantic, you can go apple picking, pumpkin picking, take trips up state, go on longer walks through central park… the list of Fall activities is endless. Not to mention that Halloween is coming up– one of my favorite holidays. In honor of my favorite season, I decided to create a bouquet that plays with the colors that we can expect to come out in the next few weeks!
