Video: How To Make Sweet-Smelling Sachets
Sachets filled with dried flowers like lavender are one of our favorite ways to incorporate the garden into everyday life– even in the unlikeliest of places. These conical, herb-filled pillows can be used to perfume a drawer of clothing, to scent a pair of otherwise-stinky shoes, or to refresh a stack of towels in the linen closet. They add an element of aromatherapy to parts of the home that need a little pick-me-up, and they can even be placed in a suitcase to bring the scent of home along with you on a trip.
Below, GC Guy Jared Reichert walks us through the process of making Garden Collage lavender sachets, which are a great insert for mens’ shoes. Lavender is one of the most soothing plants on the aromatherapy roster, as it is known for its calming effects and is conducive to both meditation and sleep.
