Cosmos

Cosmos

Named after the Greek word for harmony, cosmos were a symbol of modesty for Victorians, despite their often exuberant colors.

Why We Love Them

These pollinator plants are colorful and easy to grow. Our CEO lovingly refers to them as "workhorse flowers".

Requirements

Cosmos can take the heat, so give them full sun and be careful not to overwater.

Chocolate River

Cosmos atrosanguineus, otherwise known as chocolate cosmos, are a deep purple color that has a distinctly chocolate-like scent.

Second Chance

When they start to wilt, dry your cosmos to make potpourri that adds a delicate scent and a bright, colorful splash.
